Abstract

It is obvious that the de-implementation movement initiated by the bronchiolitis guidelines has not gone as planned. In the United States substantial elements of the bronchiolitis guidelines are generally not being followed in outpatient settings, emergency departments and pediatric intensive care units. Guideline non-compliance is also a conspicuous international problem.
