Publisher Policies
Openventio Publishers is an open-access academic publisher based in Hyderabad, India, publishing peer-reviewed journals across medicine, science, and health care disciplines. The policies below apply consistently across Openventio's full journal network — including Liver Research – Open Journal (LROJ) — governing how the publisher operates independently of any single journal's own editorial policies.
Article Processing Charges (APC)
Pricing is tiered according to World Bank income classification, with fee waivers available for authors from low-income countries or facing financial hardship. Full details are maintained on the publisher-level Article Processing Charges page and apply the same way across every Openventio journal.
Digital Preservation
Published content across the network is preserved through CLOCKSS, LOCKSS, and the PKP Preservation Network, independent of any individual journal's own website remaining online (see also LROJ's Archiving Policy for journal-specific detail).
Plagiarism Screening
Every Openventio journal, LROJ included, runs submitted manuscripts through iThenticate as a standard editorial step, prior to peer review.
Ethical Standards
Openventio holds every journal in its network to the standards set by COPE, the ICMJE, and, where relevant, OASPA.
DOI Registration
As a Crossref member, Openventio registers DOIs for accepted articles across its entire journal network through Crossref's official system — not on a per-journal basis.
