About the Journal

Osteology and Rheumatology (OROJ) is dedicated to publishing rigorous, peer-reviewed research spanning bone and rheumatic disease — from osteoporosis and bone grafting to autoimmune rheumatic conditions such as lupus and myositis.

Bone and joint health, along with the broader spectrum of autoimmune and inflammatory rheumatic disease, represents a clinically diverse field spanning orthopedic surgery, internal medicine, and rheumatology, with outcomes depending heavily on accurate diagnosis and evidence-based management of often complex, overlapping conditions. OROJ exists to support open dissemination of research that advances both bone-health science and rheumatic disease care.

OROJ publishes work spanning original research, reviews, and clinical case reports — reflecting genuine ongoing coverage of topics such as non-invasive therapy for adhesive capsulitis, chilblain lupus as an uncommon cutaneous manifestation of systemic lupus erythematosus, bone grafting principles and technique, and large-scale myositis cohort analysis using the EuroMyositis Registry, based on the journal's actual published content.
