Diagnosis and Treatment: The Foundation of All Science is Intellectual Honesty
Abstract
There is a saying, “live and learn.” I have practiced medicine for over fifty years. I have lived and I have learned. I had a private practice in Internal Medicine/Rheumatology from 1968-2008 in San Antonio, TX, USA. While keeping a full schedule, I also taught Rheumatology at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Medical School and volunteered one afternoon a week at the local hospital, providing care to the underserved population.
