Open Access Policy

Nephrology – Open Journal (NOJ) is committed to the principle that research, particularly in a field with direct clinical relevance like kidney disease and renal medicine, should be freely and immediately accessible to the widest possible audience.

Immediate Open Access

All articles published in NOJ are made freely available online immediately upon publication, with no subscription, registration, or paywall restricting access, and no embargo period (see Publisher Policies).

Licensing

All open-access content is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing readers to copy, distribute, and build upon the published work, provided appropriate credit is given (see Copyright & Licensing).

Alignment with International Open Access Standards

NOJ's open access model is consistent with the principles set out in the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).

Article Processing
