Open Access Policy

Cancer Studies and Molecular Medicine (CSMM) is a fully open-access journal. All content published in CSMM is freely available online to readers worldwide, immediately upon publication, without subscription, registration, or payment barriers.

CSMM adheres to the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access: users are free to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of articles, and to use them for any lawful purpose, provided the original authors and source are properly cited.

All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Authors retain copyright of their work; no copyright transfer to the journal is required. Full details are available on the journal's Copyright and Licensing Policy page.

CSMM does not embargo access to published content. Articles are made available in full, in their final published form, at the time of publication.

CSMM applies an Article Processing Charge to accepted manuscripts, based on the corresponding author's country income classification and article type, with full waivers available for authors from low-income countries, financial hardship cases, and students/early-career researchers. Editorial decisions are made entirely independently of an author's ability to pay, or of any waiver status. Full details are available on the Article Processing Charges and Waiver Policy page.
