  • Indexing, abstracting, and archiving services (Crossref, ROAD, PKP Preservation Network, and others as applicable to each journal), where required for discoverability and long-term preservation of published content
  • Legal or regulatory authorities, where required by law

Personal information is retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above, and in accordance with each journal's editorial and archival obligations.

Individuals may contact the relevant editorial office at any time to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information, subject to legal or archival obligations that may limit deletion of information tied to the permanent scholarly record (e.g., author names on published articles).
